Howdy Strawberry Fans!
This month’s newsletter is all about the Wild West. The Wild Rose Press CEO, Rhonda Penders, has announced that she is closing the Wylder West series. Within the multi-author book series, my trilogy of Sagebrush books: Dance to a Wylder Beat, Sound of a Wylder Silence, and Hush Little Wylder will not be extended. This is great news for those of you who do not wish to start a series before the author has completed it. For me, it is a bittersweet ending. While I am grateful to be a writer in the TWRP-created series, I had plans for other stories extending into the early 1900s. Perhaps I will put these ideas to use in a new series at the end of my looooooong idea list.
To celebrate the books of the series, both backlist and new releases, the Wylder West authors are having a party on 9/25/2022 from 2-4 PM EST in the Wylder West Facebook group. Book 1: Dance to a Wylder Beat

I’m pleased to announce that Dance to a Wylder Beat is a grand finalist in the PNR short category. Winners will be announced on October 8th. Wait…you haven’t Danced to a Wylder Beat yet? Don’t think for a second Olive and Nartan Sagebrush have been sitting comfortably at their homestead. Their audiobook has flown through post-production, and I signed off on the final copy on 9/10. As soon as I have a teaser sample from the swoon-worthy Dawson McBride, I’ll put it in our exclusive members’ group (password = Rafaella).

Book Recommendations! While my “New Book, Who Diz?” feature on Instagram is full of book reviews, these two are what I have coming next on my reading list.
Thank you so much for your support of Wylder. When I told my friends I wanted to write a bear shifter, spiritual, steamy, paranormal, western romance, they checked my pulse and asked about recent head injuries. Nowhere in the publishing process did I believe that Dance to a Wylder Beat would be a finalist in 7 contests and winner of 4 major awards…so far. I have loved writing about the Sagebrush family, but my proposals wouldn’t have been accepted without your support of my works. Thank you so much for coming with me on our journeys between the pages.
