Weddings definitely have a way of expanding quickly, even if the original intent was small. What starts as one decision becomes many.

Mother-of-the-bride considerations.

Bridal party colours.

Family expectations.

Photography coordination.

Floral and decorations theme.

And much more of course.

It adds up fast. That’s why we approached it step by step.

We focused first on the gown itself, basically through a bespoke

session for Elena. We carefully chose from a wide range of current styles to showcase her body's architecture, cooler palette, and in keeping with the tone of the wedding she was planning.

That combination makes the difference between a dress that photographs well… and one that feels the favourite dress you ever wore in your life.

After that came the Bridal Party Colour session.

The effort around this can be underestimated. Coordinating multiple people across different skin tones, personalities, comfort levels (not to mention relationship dynamics), takes thought.

We worked through each bridal attendant's colour palette and ideal version of the blue-grey theme, cohesive yet individual at the same time.

Shade variations that photographed beautifully and complemented the theme.

Choices that allowed each person to feel included, rather than forced into something uncomfortable.

And along the way, something else became clear. Elena had changed a little fundamentally. More certain and willing to take up space in her own life.

That’s what happens when you give yourself time to rebuild properly, without rushing or forcing. Just making steady decisions that align with who you are becoming.

It's been nearly two years since's Elena's initial consultation for

Personal Style

during a period of upheaval.

Since then, Elena has built layer by layer to understand herself, her values, her direction, and eventually her place in a new chapter of life.

And now, she’s preparing to walk into a future she once was certain she didn't think she'd have. And I believe her young daughter has the honour of "giving her away".
