Let's Work Together
Story Origin or BookFunnel?

Still need a Planner?
Hey ,
Welcome to 2022!
Are you making big plans for your books this year? Explosive launches? Big online or in-person release parties? I have an ambitious release schedule for the year. Far more ambitious than anything I have tackled before.
To that end, I am looking for creative marketing strategies and authors to work with on cross-promotions.
Contests and Cross-Promoting
Are you looking at contests? I am. I would love to run a joint promotion contest with like-minded authors this spring. Maybe a big splashy prize at the end of months promoting our own and each other’s works.
If you have done something like this, or are tempted by the idea, reach out and share with me and maybe we can make something happen.
Anthologies?
Speaking of happenings, are any of you doing anthologies in 2022 or maybe a Christmas special edition with other authors? I’m working on a new year’s themed story and would love a joint release with like-minded authors. All suggestions and interest will be seriously considered. I am not very good at finding the people who put anthologies together.
I would also consider a joint release for a cause. Maybe to support mental health? If anyone has ideas or interest, reach out please.
Bookfunnel, Story Origin or something else?
I have been an avid user of Bookfunnel for years, as a delivery vehicle for free books, and a source of cross-promotions. In 2020 I made the shift to Story Origin, using both tools. By year end I was almost exclusively using Story Origin. Better statistics, better ability to connect with other authors, and frankly, cheaper!
Do you have a preference? Why? Do you use something completely different? If you are on Story Origin or BookFunnel, I would love to connect and find ways to help each other reach new readers. Just let me know.
I tackle resolutions, and whether or not to make them. I am revisiting a blog post from 2016. Depressing fact, my resolutions for 2022 look an awful lot like the ones I set for 2017. Does that mean I am standing still. Not a chance.
What about you? What are your big goals for the year? Feel free to share in the comments section of today’s blog. Maybe we can egg each other on to success.
Still need a 2022 planner?
I am just breaking in my new LIVING WELL PLANNER and the jury is still out, but as great as it is, I miss my old one by Day Designer. Not cheap but the best for tracking appointments, goals AND having enough space for notes. Want one? Living Well doesn’t have enough notes space for me. But you might love it. Here’s a link to Living Well and to DAY DESIGNER. Or maybe you want to print your own? In that case, I still recommend BRIT POE'S THRIVING SCRIBES PLANNER.
That’s it for today.
Happy writing,
