Welcome to 2022!

First change for the new year? My emails have moved from Monday’s to Tuesdays, to correspond with the day I post my blog.

I admit that I am happy to see the end of 2021, although it brought me some wonderful new friends and more authoring momentum than I have seen since I began writing in 2015.

Looking back, I realize I hired two editors who edited six books between them, I hired a new assistant who is full of fabulous and creative ideas, a new web-designing team is on board so that your experiences with my web-site should improve dramatically, my blog is back more regularly, and I have a regularly writing group that is helping me be more productive as a writer.

What does that mean for you? What’s ahead in 2022? For starters, a completely redesigned website, more blog posts and guest authors and plenty of books, books, books.

By now I should have learned not to promise, but why stop sticking my neck out now?

Here Come the Beguiling Bachelors and Crazy Eights (previously the Double Dare Series)

Fully—and professionally—edited versions of the Beguiling Bachelors will be back as ebooks on Amazon by February! Galatea was an interesting but frustrating experience for me. Amazon provides its writers with detailed information updated constantly, while Galatea didn’t even provide me with information about the number of books sold or pages read. Nothing.

It is hard to respond to what works and what doesn’t if you have no input. So I have pulled my books from Galatea and will return them to Amazon in February. That means a newly edited free book to kick off the series this month!

That’s right, you can expect Bewildered to be available by mid- to late-January, for readers who missed it the first time, and those of you who want to reread the new and improved version.

Behind it, Bedazzled in February, Beholden in March, followed by Bedeviled and Besotted as quickly as I can manage. Rewrites mean reproofing, formatting and launching, but I am working as fast as I can.

Then, in the spring, the Crazy Eights will kick off with a free read. I have changed some character names and will make sure to introduce you to the NEW Crazies before I launch the books. Twelve in the series, hopefully six in 2022, six in 2023. I am working on cover designs right now too, so I hope to have some reveals soon.

And for you holiday theme lovers (and who doesn’t love Christmas in July on Hallmark?) I am working on a story built around a woman alone for the holidays—again. Ghosts of boyfriends past, perhaps? You’ll have to wait and see.
