I cannot believe that May is already around the corner. How did this happen. I love May, “the lusty month of May” as Rogers and Hammerstein wrote. May Day, the Kentucky Derby, the final relinquishing of Winter here in Chicago and Star Wars day on the 4^th (May the Fourth be With You).

But for me, as a writer of romances filled with disgustingly rich heroes, my favorite day in May is the 20^th – Millionaire Day. You read that right. Like they didn’t already have a wealth of riches – pun intended – they get a day too. Read more about it here then celebrate the success of others or take steps to get celebrated sometime in the future.

Have you ever seen that movie “The Money Pit” about the couple that buys a house that is nothing but problem after problem, eating through every penny they have? I remember seeing it because watching it gave me a high level of discomfort. I am shopping for car at the moment. Not to jinx it, but imagine a lemon. It would be a very expensive disaster.
