Welcome to April - almost! No fools here, right?
I sure hope not, because I am about to embark on a new venture and I am counting on being smart about it.
What am I doing? Moving my four-book Beguiling Bachelor series off of Amazon! For more on this migration, read Stuff I Love, at the end of this newsletter.
Bethany is alive and well! I have finished rewrites of Bedazzled and laid out the plot and character study for the next book in the Double Dare Romance series. If you are keeping count, that means that in addition to Eliana’s story, already published in Dare to Hope, I have finished one book and started three others – yep, three. Bethany is book five.
Avery our shy cat lover is complete and awaiting rewrites. Cassie’s story is more than half-way done, Rachel’s story is about 1/3 complete and now Bethany has four chapters. Bethany’s story is actually a cross-over novel – like Grey’s Anatomy does cross over episodes with Chicago Fire. Ethan Howe is the hero in Bethany’s romance. He is also the younger brother of Wyatt Howe, the hero of Bedazzled in the Beguiling Bachelor series.
This cross over is a first for me, but many of you wonderful fans have asked me to bring back the characters from Bedazzled, Beholden, Bedeviled and Besotted, and I strive to keep you happy when I can. Bethany’s tale begins a decade later than Bedazzled, so we can see where our Beguiled couples are now.
I am planning a big launch for these books – but not until later this year. First I have to finish them, a task that seems to elude me. But if I can conquer covid-brain and stay on track, watch for cover reveals, excerpts and updates this summer.
