Hey ,
WARNING: Settle in for a long newsletter. I have lots of news to share.
Actually, it’s remarkable that I have a newsletter this week at all. Why? Because I am on vacation at the moment, and I was rushing to finish things before I left. That meant I didn't get anything prepped before I left, and I am actually getting decent enough wifi to upload this from the hotel. This email is being sent from Maine, but it was mostly written in Massachusetts. Some of it was written in Indiana, some in Pennsylvania.
Here's a small taste of the trip so far...
I am traveling though New England. Eating my way through New England might be a better description! But so much is going on this week, I simply had to share.
We had a very big week in the world of the Crazy Eights (and friends).
Right before vacation I sent two books to my editor and one for formatting. That’s three new Crazy books coming your way this year. With any luck, I will squeeze one more into 2023, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Way Past Crazy is off to be formatted, the final step before it gets published. I am targeting the end of May/first week of June for release. Shy Avery will meet her match in handsome Patrick when he proposes to help her practice date. Why? So she can participate in Gabby’s audacious dare. Romance readers the world over know that practice dating leads to the real thing, but Avery has yet to learn that lesson. Watching Patrick enlighten her makes for a great read.
Crazy to Dream , the next book in the series, is off to the editor. When Stacy is done with her red pencil, I will do rewrites, send it for proofreading and formatting and out into the world. Maybe July? Maybe sooner! I am eager for you to watch Willow and Ethan argue over the same piece of land, only to discover hot, makeup sex.
And my latest story, A Rich Dilemma, has also gone to the talented Stacy for editing. This is the story of Melanie’s sister Leah, a Crazy Eight wannabe, who finds herself torn between two equally tantalizing and equally unavailable men. It’s the raciest book I have written to date and will be part of a steamy billionaire anthology this fall.
You can preorder Tall, Dark and Rich now, and read Leah’s story when it becomes available this fall. Watch for stories by USA Today bestselling authors and some of your favorite billionaire romance writers in this limited time anthology.
As if being able to preorder this anthology isn’t enough? What if I mention that the average price per story is only 3¢? Here’s that link once more: https://amzn.to/3NErSsO
Maybe you’d like a few books to read while you wait? Check out The One You Love, a Kindle Unlimited promotion that starts today! Dozens of romances to choose from by some of your favorite authors (including me).

Did you check out the blog post last week announcing Adriana Kraft’s hot new novel Smoldering Passion? Adriana has published dozens of hot romances. this one promises to be sexy, in fact smoldering! The story pays homage to New York, to a favorite Aunt and is romance at its best.
What about this post from Kat Caldwell (host of Write with Us) who stopped by to discuss her historic novel Stepping Across the Desert. I loved the premise of this one. A woman of privilege, sold into slavery, breaks free and travels home with an elusive gentlemen. Kat’s prose is wonderful, she captures the period perfectly, and she’s chosen a fascinating tale to tell. Learn more about Stepping Across the Desert here.
Warned you I had a lot to share! My personal marketing guru Katie Sadler was generous enough to share a few of her secrets on the blog today. In 3 Key Strategies for Better Book Marketing, Katie kicks off any writer’s marketing efforts with areas that are crucial to marketing success. Learn more about book marketing and Katie here.
I Love Flowers.
I Hate senseless gun violence.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner. So are graduations, end of year recitals and so many more events where flowers are appropriate. What if you could send flowers and do good in the world at the same time?
Flowers for Dreams is a Chicago-based florist who have been doing good with their profits for years. But finally, you can buy their gorgeous flowers in thirty states, not just Illinois.
If you are looking for a last minute Mother's Day gift, check out their gifts/flower combinations, or just send flowers. They do beautiful work.
And this Mother’s day. they are dedicating their efforts to one of my favorite groups, Moms Demand Action. This a group, formed by moms, leading the effort to pass sensible gun legislation aimed at helping save the lives of children.
My family has been the victim of gun violence, and let me tell you that every victim, every family member of a victim, and every friend is never the same. It changes the lives of dozens of people, forever. I can’t think of a better cause this Mother’s Day than saving a mother that kind of pain.
Send flowers and keep the children around you alive. Did I mention that the flowers are gorgeous?? They are just beautiful.
Here’s where to order: Flowers for Dreams.
Happy reading and to all your moms, step-moms, moms-in-law and grand-moms, Happy Mother's Day.
P.S. Please help make our anthology pre-order shoot up to the best-seller list. I have always wanted to be a bestseller! We are so close. Pre-order your copy today.
