Hey ,

Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday. She will be 97 years old! Think of all she has seen and done in her life, how many changes she lived through, from television to computers, from world wars to women in the workplace. I want to give a huge shout out to mom. She is the woman who gave me my smarts and the ambition to use them. She instilled self-sufficiency in me along with an inquisitive nature. And it was my mother, a librarian by profession who taught to love and appreciate books.

It is because of my mom that I write, and it is in her honor that I share books with fellow readers.
