On the Double Dare Front - Meet Kyra

Happening Now - Beards and Books

Stuff I Love - Decluttering Life

Hey

For my American friends, I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. My furry companion, Gracie, was frightened by the fireworks, cowering in the bathtub last night. She was pitiful. But today she has emerged unscathed and things are returning to normal. Good thing because I am having company tonight to grill and hang out. My first company since being vaccinated. Feels good.

It may have been the fourth, but writing doesn’t stop for holidays. Not when I have promised you thirteen books in the Double Dare series.

Speaking of…

imageHave I told you about Kyra? She is the self-proclaimed founder of the Crazy Eights and a force to be reckoned with. When she issues the dare in Dare to Hope–and doubles down on it–she is the only one of the Crazies who is married.

An executive at a young age, managing a large number of employees, Kyra knows how to motivate people and demand a lot from them. She uses those tactics with the Crazies in order to launch her challenge.

But what’s Kyra’s love story? I realized I couldn’t wait until the end of the series, as I originally planned, to give you some background on this petite whirlwind. So,I have pushed my other work aside to create a free read, Dare to Wed. It will be Kyra’s romantic journey and an introduction to the Crazy Eights a full decade before Kyra issues the dare.

I think you’ll love meeting the Crazies while they are still in their twenties with their dreams ahead of them, and I know you will love the steamy chemistry between Kyra and her man, Brad.

Watch for Dare to Wed to kick off the revised series late this summer.

Meanwhile, Dare to hope is in transition. Many thanks to Stacy Juba – see more about her amazing course below, Her editing of the book has been nothing short of genius. The new cover is In the works, too. The new and improved Dare to Hope will launch this fall, followed by at least one more book in the series before year end.

imagePenny Reid is one of my favorite authors. Her blend of romance and humor, her quirky characters and the friendships of her characters make her books hard to put down. And, Penny is from Chicago! Go Cubs!

Beard Science is ZERO PENNIES for a limited time!

This novel is a fan favorite and the introduction to Penny's cozy mystery Solving for Pie series. Penny is a New York TimesWall Street Journal, and USA TODAY bestselling author and this small-town romance is a must read.

Steal the deal!

Kindle Unlimited Steamy Romance available though July 20th

When I retired from my corporate life, I imagined taking classes, attending lectures and generally gaining knowledge for as long as I was able. I have achieved that goal, but focused about the writing and publishing of books. I am a connuousseur of available online classes for writers and non-writers alike.

This week I am sharing one from Stacy Juba on time management that everyone might love (Marie Kondo, step aside!) I am an affiliate for this brand new course and a current student. I think I have already cut my junk email in half!
