Happy Thanksgiving!
This is a time for American’s to stop their harried lives, spend time with family, and eat way too much food, all while reflecting on their lives with gratitude. For all of us around the globe, it’s been a very tough year, making it harder to find reasons to be grateful. Perhaps we are not spending the holiday with our family, we are isolated with Covid or struggling to put food on the table.
No Matter What, You Help me be Grateful.
It is easy for me to be grateful, because I have you. I can thank each and every one of you for your continued support of my efforts as a writer and realize how fortunate I am to have you in my world. Your reviews, your emails, your feedback, even just knowing you are out there reading this, helps me press forward when temptations lure me from my writing. Knowing you are waiting for my next novel pushes me on. Your reviews, good or bad, help me do better. Your positive feedback is uplifting. I am grateful to each of you.
Focusing on Gratitude is Good for You.
What better time to focus on gratitude than the month of Thanksgiving? Did you know that being grateful helps your health and well-being? Reports show that feeling optimism, joy and gratitude improves your immune system and lowers blood pressure – and don’t we need both of those now!
These are trying times, but with help from Robin Long and her Balanced Life Sisterhood, here are tips for cultivating gratitude:
o Make it your mission – perhaps challenge yourself for a month, or a week and record the benefits.
o Keep a Gratitude Journal – write in it daily
o Post a daily list – put it where you can see it often
o Look for things to be thankful for – it will change the way you look at the world
o Do it with friends and family – many people say something they are thankful for as they sit around the Thanksgiving table. Why only one day? Do it all the time.
o Turn things upside down – someone hands you lemons? Make lemonade.
o Don’t give up – do this regularly and it will recharge you and become habitual.

But for this to work, we’d have to have rules in place.
No sleeping together.

Less expected is all these feelings and sparks of romance the two will share in this long weekend.
Cowboy's Forbidden Nanny (Cowboy Billionaire Secrets Book 3) by Monica Bolt

Erotic Stories by Mariano Flynn
Brazen, dirty, forbidden, passionate, provocative stories for women and men.
You won't be the same person after reading them
In the tradition of an American Thanksgiving, I would like to mention a few people (besides you guys) for whom I am grateful.
My sisters (and nieces and friends) – These are the amazing women who shaped my life and continue to shape it daily. They are supportive, funny, thoughtful and kind. They are a shoulder to lean on when the going gets tough. They amplify my joy in celebrating when things go well. They enrich my life (and keep me humble!)
My other sisters – The sisterhoods of women who support my health, my life and and my career.
- The Balanced Life Sisterhood where I get pilates classes, encouragement to care for myself, recipes and general uplifting. You can too at https://thebalancedlifeonline.com/friend/ref/31265/
- The Society of Women Winning Online – Jen Snyder, and the women who have joined her society, are some of the kindest, most giving strangers I have ever called friends. While we have never met, they offer me help with software or Pinterest or a rough day when I want to go back to bed. Their honesty and commitment to one another is a sight to behold.
With gratitude,
P.S. In case you missed my favorite planners for 2021,here are those links once more: Day Designer, Erin Condren, and Thyme is Honey. These are the one's I use myself or give as gifts.
