What did we learn?

1 The packaging slaps

I own a problematic number of board games, and PRISM stands out on the shelf. It is like a holy relic to the dice gods—a prophetic white marble cubic bust with a touch of shiny holographic Pokémon card.

2 It is not a toy

This is a sentence to sound tough for business people to take tabletop exercising and dice rolling seriously, and not at all to be classified by US customs under HS code 4909.00.40 as 'Printed training and facilitation cards for professional use only' and not receive an eye-watering 40% tariff as a game—my condolences to any US-based indie designers.

3 We are ordering more

Sorry, but we can't take orders just yet. We will reach out on the coms when you can.

We are finalising the last details of the first mass production printing round as well as a North American and European warehouse, so shipping for this 1.8kg from our hood down under won't be a separate budget. My eyes watered when I posted out the first lot.

Each unit will be individually marked with its unique ID and Generation. The naming of the Generations will follow the prismatic colours from longer wavelength to shorter (outside of the rainbow to inside).

This first prod. run is Generation RED, and there will be 500 made.

So the first order will be: PRISM 1/500 gen RED

It is likely that as the generations sell out, we will increase the run order. So the earlier generations will inherently be 'rarer'. Not that it matters. Unless it does. Which, to my brain, it would.
