Moving on from one bridge hand to the next - with Graeme Tuffnell
Aug 20, 2021 1:01 pm
Hello, bridge friends ~
How do we stop ourselves getting into our own heads and causing ourselves problems? Whatever level we play at, this is a challenge we all face. Graeme joins us to share some tips:
We all have good days and bad days, days where we make an amazing play or a terrible play (and partner does too). Often these can lead to a lapse of concentration and bad plays or even to us stewing in our seats, making everything even worse.
Graeme gives us some techniques he uses to help himself move on from the last hand but emphasizes that we must all figure out what works for us. The key is to plan what we will do in all these situations which we know will happen. What kind of reset works for us?
