With 6 cards in hearts and 18 HCP, we have a strong hand. The opponents have opened making our bidding a bit more difficult. How best do we convey our hand to partner? Luckily, the fantastic Prakash Paranjape is back to help us through this fun hand.

We could overcall. This will show our length in hearts but not our strength. Our partner may pass and we may miss game.

We could double. This will not show our shape but we will get a second chance to bid.

We can’t show our whole hand in one bid, so what do we do?
