Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

New Challenges

"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit"

Jeremiah 17:7‭-‬8 NIV

It has been a challenging month. I tried to coordinate our next project, but God has different plans. We submitted an application for a building permit but have yet to receive it. This scripture tells us we are blessed as we trust in Him and have confidence in His will. While we wait God sent others in my path in need. These were small but critical projects that needed attention. These projects included replacing a water heater for a single mom, repairing a leaky roof for new young parents, and helping a Christian brother with some plumbing. Although they were not done under the ministry, they were still a ministry and a blessing all around. I am thrilled to have God use me on a daily basis. The people He puts in my path and the relationships that form are full of blessings for them and for me. As this scripture says the "tree" never fails to bear fruit.

Please pray for us as we push ahead next month and attempt to get a bathroom remodeled and a rotted front porch tore off and rebuilt.  

Here is a photo of an upcoming project that needs to be completed before winter. A tree fell on a family’s trailer roof, is now leaking and has broken rafters. New posts will be set around the outside of the home and a whole new roof structure will be built over it. It will be a satisfying project and need more hands than just mine. I know God will put this together in His timing with His guidance. Please keep us in prayer as we continue forward. For us to have helping hands we need volunteer insurance which at this point is not something we can afford, so prayers for more supporters is crucial. I know together we can make this happen. We have come a long way from an idea God put on my heart to having a full-fledged ministry with an amazing Board of Directors and supporters. God is good!
