Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

Presenting at area Churches, meetings, events, or in the business world, Kingdom Builders of Central New York is often asked how we follow-up. “After you help these people, how would you know, or follow up on their relationship with Christ or if they have one?” “Is this a one and done type of job?”  Ministry is about people and with people come relationships. There are different types of relationships, personal, work, business, but they all involve people.  

Relationships are not easy. Our fears of rejection, anger, and persecution may cause us to move very cautiously. As part of every accepted application Andy meets with the homeowner(s) to go over the needs, what portions we can address, and he begins what we hope to be a lasting relationship.  We all have relationships. Many of us may need rekindling or some effort to sustain them. Quite often it means that we must push away that pride we have been warned about so many times. Whether it is family, friend, work associate, or neighbor, please, take some time this season to extend a hand, have a conversation, reach out.  It isn’t painful - any sensation that may be perceived as pain might just be that heart growing a bit just like the Grinch.

Kingdom Builders is looking to continue establishing and growing relationships with area churches, groups, businesses, and individuals. We have recently visited and presented at Word of Faith Church in Maryland NY and West Davenport Free Baptist Church.

We welcome the opportunity to visit and share with your Church, your organization, business, or any individual interested in supporting this much needed mission in our area. Support is not only financial for materials, but soon we hope to have more volunteer help and labor.  Referring, families or individuals that may be struggling to afford needed home repairs or improvements, is another way of supporting Kingdom Builders.  Our Board is looking for outgoing individuals who desire to serve God by serving their brothers and sisters who truly need this mission. That may well be a position on our board. Please reach out to one of our Board Members or use the contact us tab on our website https://kingdombuilderscny.org/contact/ if you are interested in learning more about Kingdom Builders or would like us to visit and share this good news.

As 2023 winds down, Kingdom Builders of CNY would like to thank all our supporters, helpers, and donors for a very blessed 2023. While Kingdom Builders goal is the physical needs of our community, we also take great pleasure in the relationships we build with those we help, showing how the love of Jesus can manifest into loving our neighbors. Of equal importance are those relationships we build with area Churches, businesses, and individuals. The more we gather and share, the more we can do in this community. Our best wishes to you and yours this Christmas Season with a reason.
