Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

Spring is the perfect metaphor for the gospel. It is God’s nature to make something new. Not only can we observe many attributes of God in the spring, but His gospel plan is plastered throughout creation.

Beauty often unveils itself slowly, through much waiting, much seeking, and sometimes much heartache. Because the most beautiful beauty – a transformed life – takes time, we must be patient, lifetime seekers, not only mining our past and present circumstances for beauty but also cultivating hope for the future beauty.

Seasonal Orchestration

Spring has sprung and we are on our way to summer. I'm always in awe of the transformations of the seasons. It's amazing to see God take the grey, seemingly lifeless branches of the trees and add beautiful green buds that quickly turn into vibrant full leaves. And see green stems creep up out of the ground and in a matter of days sprout with beautiful colors of a flower. And it's all for us to enjoy. I am thankful for God's creation and how He orchestrates all things perfectly. What a great God we serve!  

God continues to orchestrate the workings of Kingdom Builders as well. We have been in a holding pattern lately with not much work...BUT God had a plan. During this holding pattern we were able to secure funds for a substantial project coming up. We have a family in dire need of a new roof structure over their mobile home. We waited on God, and he provided. He's good like that! 

In the holding pattern we did have a small project of coating a mobile home roof. This was a woman we have done work for but we're waiting on good weather to finish this part of the project. So, God put it all together and we were able to finish up. We are truly blessed and honored to serve this woman in this way. Praise God! 

We have some more applicants in our wheelhouse that are up for review and will see what God has planned. We are hoping, Lord willing, to be able to dive into the new roof structure project next month. Please keep us in your prayers for this project. It's a substantial amount of work. Pray for our discernment and organization of it all. As always, thank you for prayers and support. Together we are making a difference and serving our Lord.
