Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through

God is constant in the change! 

Well here we are in the month of November and looking around me I see change. I watch the leaves change to beautiful colors and fall to the ground covering it then be raked up in a pile to jump in. Maybe not for me jump in – I don’t need to break and arm, ha! Then I feel the temperature change to lower levels for the rain to change to snow. Now covering the ground changing from the colors of the leaves to a blanket of white. CHANGE HAPPENS. The world around us transforms and changes daily to perform a cycle that is crucial for the earth to maintain its existence. People change and our hope is that change is for the better. My hope is to glorify God, forming into what He calls me to be and do, being his servant.

One thing that never changes is God. He has a plan and purpose for us ALL. He is all knowing, loving and in control. Through our obedience and faith His will is done.

Here at Kingdom Builders things are changing too – funds are coming in and we have started to receive applications for projects, and we are excitedly awaiting taking those first steps in service. We do have a way to go financially to get hammer in hand and boots on the ground, but I am confident that our great God will continue to provide. He ALWAYS does. God is seeing to it that His will be done.

I feel so very blessed to be called by God into this ministry. To be used by Him for His glory and to serve His people. But I can’t do it without your help. My ask is that you please pray for us as we seek financial support, one time or monthly, and for Him to bring to the ministry people to serve. Please consider your part in this ministry – together we can be a part of the calling of God to serve Him through serving others and making disciples for his kingdom.

Special Update from Andy

As I do life change had come to me as well. I am happy and proud to announce that I will be stepping into a life together with a pretty special woman – Michelle Decker. She is a great servant and lover of Christ. God has put us together to complement each other and serve Him as a couple, a married couple.

I’m looking forward to growing in the Lord with Michelle for the rest of my life. To serve God and her united. Thank you for all your support and prayers

Message from the Board

Over thirty years ago Dionne Warwick sang: “What the world needs now is love, sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of . . .” and over two thousand years before that song was sung the Apostle John wrote to followers of Christ that “We love because [Christ] first loved us.” ^{1 John 4:19}

I have had a number of people ask me why I felt another ministry was needed in the greater Oneonta area and the answer is simple: “There is tremendous need within our communities to minister to homeowners who cannot maintain their primary residence.

On first blush this seems out of place but when you begin to examine the needs of those we serve they are often a single Mom working several part-time jobs to make ends meet for her family or those who are living on fixed income who are limited by age or a physical limitation that prevents them from maintaining their home properly. A leaky roof or a plugged sewer pipe over time creates an unlivable situation which could have been avoided if there was someone who could have invested the time and often some resources into correcting the initial problem.

There are many needs in our communities that need to be met and there are many organizations available to help meet those needs. Kingdom Builders of CNY ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

The Board is asking each of you to join with us in praying for this ministry; that God would guide and direct our work and that our labor would be done to magnify the name of Christ. We would also ask you to consider a tax-deductible monthly gift, either via our website or with a check, once you have met your commitment to your local church.

• For vision and wisdom as we strive to move the ministry forward and make operational decisions
• That God’s will be done through this ministry, taking what we have prepared and multiplying our efforts as only God can
• That we keep love at the forefront of our minds and the guiding light for all we set out to accomplish and celebrate
