Mission Statement:
Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.
Campaign Corner
Commit, is a word that in Hebrew, literally means “to roll”, as a man rolls a burden to another, which is too heavy for himself. The idea is that we completely give something over to God in dependence upon Him. The Hebrew syntax in Proverbs 16:3 also reveals the idea that we commit our work to the Lord in order that our plans will be established. Some versions like KJV say thoughts will be established. Usually, we think of committing our thoughts or plans to the Lord, then committing our works. Here the order is reversed, we are told first to commit our works, then trust that our thoughts and plans will be established.
It all started with a meeting on November 14th to discuss the declining van. We prayed and asked for you to pray with us and committed this need to God. How fitting we were rolling the van to God! We stepped out in faith with works in the form of a capital campaign, not fully seeing the plan that God would lay out for us.
To say this journey was what we expected or was easy or that we knew what steps to take at every decision point, is an understatement. This was the first capital campaign for the ministry and in our humanness we would discover ourselves trying to carry out things in our own strength, in our own wisdom and in our own time. Yet in 3 short months God’s plan unfolded before us. Our thoughts and plan for the van became clearer, in alignment and established, though Him.

That the preparations of the heart are from the Lord - God plants His Word, His desires right in our heart.
That God wow’s us with His plans over our own.
Prayers:
That we serve the Lord faithfully and leave the results to Him.
That we commit all our plans and our works, our desires, and our decisions to the Lord. Please continue to work through each of us and the ministry so that your plans will reach their full fruition.
For Andy’s trip to Israel – safe travels, refreshing of his spirit, for scripture to be alive to him in a new way and that walk of Jesus draws him closer to our Lord

I love this for two reasons. One, knowing that if we commit what we do to God, he will establish our plans and two, being excited about what's next. I am thrilled to see God moving in Kingdom Builders and just as thrilled in the anticipation of what's next.
We were blessed to be able to serve this past month in replacing broken up trailer skirting and a rotted storm door.
And freeing up the windows to make them function properly. Our board member Larry Mattice went the extra mile to secure curtain rods. What a guy! We must come back, when the weather permits us, to fix a leaky roof over the carport but for now she is blessed and so are we.
We will be taking a little break now from our work. The Lord has blessed me to be able to take part in a trip to Israel...WHAT??? Yes Israel! So, I ask for your prayers for our trip and all that goes along with traveling these days I am excited for this trip. To walk where Jesus walked and see the remains of structures that are recorded in scriptures is going to be AMAZING!
When I return, I am excited to see what’s next for Kingdom Builders as we continue to commit to the Lord whatever we do.
