Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

Unchanging God: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

Here we are entering into another season. A time of change. A time when all the green around us turns into vibrant yellows, reds, oranges, and browns. It is so cool how God designed his creation. How He gives us the gift of creation to enjoy. How He decided that trees would produce leaves that after a time would change colors. And we get to sit back and take the beauty all in for our enjoyment. CHANGE. Change happens in our lives, but there is one thing that never changes and that is God.

The first part of Malachi 3:6 states, “I the Lord do not change." And His Word remains unchanged. It very comforting to have a solid unchanging God and a solid unchanging guide - His word. In this world of change we all need the Lord and his unchanging love and goodness. 

We finished up a project of removing a tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower for a gentleman that, because of change in his life, he struggles to get in and out of a tub. This gentleman moved me. He is now faced with some very serious medical challenges, CHANGE. Change in his life that leaves him with few choices as to his future. Kingdom Builders was honored to serve him and make his quality of life a little easier. My hope, and prayer, is that we planted a seed in him. A seed that can grow into a relationship with the Lord and give him the comfort that he desperately needs now. A seed of unchanging love and goodness that only Jesus Christ has to offer.

There was never a moment nor will there ever be a moment where the eternal God has not been the same.

The revelation that we have in the Word of God is sufficient for knowing him in the past, present, and future. Today and forever.

His mercy and faithfulness continue despite our actions.

Prayers:

That in the changing storms of life, we find an unshakeable peace, joy, and hope when we rest on the unchanging nature of God’s faithfulness, goodness, and love in our lives.

Our souls need an anchor in these changing times. May we turn to and consistently rely on the Anchor that has a name – Jesus.
