How to Lose Weight and Keep it off with Coach Scott

Hi ,
Coach, I must lose 10lbs by Xmas .
Have you got a race or an event over the Xmas period?
‘No, I just need to lose the weight, I have let myself go over the last few months and I need to get my ass in gear and start training properly.’
This is a familiar tale and one that I will not bore you with in terms of telling you the old coach buzz words of consistency, clean diet, good hydration, you look lovely… etc.
What if I said...
‘Cool, just eat what you want and find time to train at least 5 days a week for 20-30 mins and if that weight that you have gained went on over the last few months then you’ll lose it (and more) in 4 weeks’’
Maybe you have seen quotes like this on social media. Some muscle-bound guy telling you how to burn fat in 28 days and have a body like me (him not me) by the New Year.
Well, not many folk want a body like me as I resemble a scrawny chicken on a good day but what I have is an indestructible nuclear-bomb-proof mindset. I say mindset and not WILLPOWER. There is a difference, but this is a short email and one that has value to your needs.
Your weight loss goals start and finish with your mindset. As do all your goals!
I said that you could eat what you wanted and lose weight!
I sure did but what does that phrase really mean?
‘Eat what you want to!’
It’s not as straightforward as your little chimp, who is now dancing around your head, lets you believe.
