No one wants a PAIN in Neck…

As a youngster I was often referred to (mainly by school teachers) as a pain in the neck!

Sometimes even worse, but it was the 1970/80’s when the old coach was at school.

However, when you spin out on a glorious day and head for your favourite route, the last thing you want is a pain in the neck.

Maybe it is something that creeps up on you and prevents those long days in the saddle?

Or maybe it happens suddenly without warning and has you shrugging on the bike like a nodding donkey on the seafront (is that a thing still?)

As a bike fitter, a coach and a rider with a metal plate in their neck, I have heard so many stories from riders over the years about their neck pain.

I always focus my bike fitting around issues that support posture and your neck is incredibly important in that posture workload.

In my latest video I share some tips and tricks to identify the root of potential issues and how to go about starting to fix them.

I will be sharing more exercises over the next few weeks that will help you build your daily posture exercise routine.

…and WATCH OUT for the NEW Team Kinetic Cycling Club. An online membership space that will have you sweating and laughing as well as progressing your fitness of course.

Stay safe folks and keep spinning and smiling.

Kind regards
