Every serious business owner or entrepreneur should be in the business of getting attention.
Since business is a numbers game, you must constantly try to get more people to know what you do.
The more people know what you do, the more likely it is that they will buy from you.
Look at Obi Cubana for example...
Apart from honouring his mother, that burial was a way of getting massive attention.
The man trended non-stop for over 1 week.
Since then, his followers on Instagram grew from 700,000 to 1.9 million (as I checked yesterday).
You may talk about the lavish spending, spraying of money, etc. (What is your concern sha? Na him money he dey spend, na you dey vex)
But what he did was very good for his business. He is in the entertainment/night life/hospitality industry.
He has a lot night clubs, hotels, he is going into real estate now. So the more people know him, the more the patronage for his businesses.
That also means increase attention from international brands. Like the wine brands he just became distributors for.
Every business needs attention.
There is nothing like "low key" business
If you want to go under the radar, then find a way to get attention to your business.
I'm sure many people don't know the owner of the Big Brother show, but they know big brother.
Many people don't know the owner of MTN, but they know MTN.
You get the point now?
For you to hit big numbers, you need to get your products to a lot of people. You need attention.
Years ago, it would have been difficult to get attention.
You would need to pay for TV, radio, bill boards, etc.
But today, its "easy"
We have been gifted one of the greatest tools ever.... THE INTERNET!

The question now becomes "HOW CAN I GET ATTENTION BY LEVERAGING ON THE INTERNET?"
