Imagine this:
A soldier returns home. Pretty drunk but not knocked out.
He tells his wife he is hungry and asks for food.
She goes into the kitchen to prepare dinner.
He goes into his room to change his clothes.
Drops his rifle.
Quickly throws on his PJ and drunkenly rushes out to eat because he is so hungry.
After eating,
He somehow remembers his rifle.
It is loaded and the safety pin isn't locked.
He rushes into his room and sees his 3 year old child playing with the rifle.
As soon as he enters the room, the 3 year old child chuckles,
struggles to lift the gun and aims it at daddy.
Remember,
The gun is loaded.
The safety pin is unlocked.
And this three year old boy already has his finger on the trigger.
Now here is the question:
Will this soldier be afraid?
Well,
You may argue and say, 'since he is a trained arms man, he'll not be afraid.'
You may be right.
But when you realise that this is a 3 year old child who doesn't even know what he is about to do, the soldier will be afraid.
And very careful.
Now this piece isn't really about the soldier,
Or his three year old son.
This message is about the gun.
That soldier is not afraid of his three year old son.
A hard blow to the head and the boy is gone.
He is afraid of what a gun, in the hands of 3 year old, can lead to.
He is afraid that one careless pull at the trigger can end his life.
His focus is on getting the gun out of the boy's hands because...
(Read the next line with intent)...
"Without the gun, the 3 year old is harmless!!!"
That three year old boy is you (and me).
The gun is your talent, your skill, your expertise... (Everything with which you can make impact)
Without your skill or talent, you are useless.
The goodness?
You've got talent.
You've got skills.
You ain't useless.
The boy + The gun = Possible de.ath.
You + Your skill = Possible wealth.
'Possibility of wealth' becomes 'certainty of wealth' when you pull the trigger.
When you use that talent
or expertise
or skill...
To be of value to people by solving their problems for a reward.
You see,
There are so many things you'll notice in your life that'll make you feel incapable.
"I'm just a three year old."
"I don't have a car."
"I don't have a million in my account."
"I'm still struggling."
Yada yada yada.
And to be fair, these things sound legit.
They sound good enough to make you live in self pity
But once you realise that you've got talent, skill, expertise... Solutions??!!!
Then you've got a gun that can kill.
You only need to aim at the target and pull the trigger.
I don't care who you are.
Clients don't care.
People with problems don't care.
They only care about the gun in your hand.
The solution you can provide with your skills, talents, giftings, expertise.
Stop allowing mental limitations gold you back.
In your hand is a keg of gunpowder.
In your hand is a loaded rifle.
Use those talents.
Use those gifts.
Solve problems.
Male impact.
Make money.
Hope this meets you well.
