Happy March!

I hope February was good to you. I apologize for not getting a newsletter out last month. Time got away from me. Once I had a handle on things, I figured I’d wait until March to give you all the skinny.

This past week, I spent time with some amazing fellow authors. We got words in while revitalizing our love of words and also sharing tips to help one another achieve our goals. This year, we visited Lincoln City, Oregon. It’s a Pacific coastal city, and our vacation rental was right on the beach with a beautiful view of the waves crashing into the rocks. Writing was in stiff competition with watching those ocean waves.

During our retreats, in addition to writing, we also play games and take an honest-to-goodness field trip. This year, we added a crafting activity into the mix. For our field trip, we visited the Tillamook creamery and got to learn about the entire process of cheesemaking from milking the cow to packaging. Of course no trip to a creamery would be complete without an ice cream cone. 😋😋

We also visited a light house at Cape Mears and tried to visit a ghost beach - we were thwarted by high water on the ghost beach.

Coastal Magic

My first event of the year is in the books! I had a great time at Coastal Magic. It was great to reconnect with authors and readers I met last year and meet new people this year. I also had the opportunity to sit on some great panels. The Flash Fiction panel was bonkers, and I loved every second of it!

This year, I participated in the Murder Mystery event as an actor. I had entirely too much fun leading people down a path to potential clues in their quest to figure out ‘whodunit’. There were some serious investigations going on in that room.🕵🏽‍♀️ 🤣

If I didn’t see you there, hopefully we’ll get the chance at one of the other events I have planned for 2026.

Writing Update

In my last newsletter, I told you that about Cherry’s story. At the time I didn’t have a title. That’s not my norm, nor is it normal for me to set a release goal and not hit it. Full transparency, the things going on around me are making it a little harder for me to escape into my writing. I’m writing. I just hit a bump that pushed my hopeful release date for Cherry’s story past what I wanted.

I’m not letting that stop me. It will be my next release. Even though I’ve finished Power and gotten it back from the editor, I’m going to hold it for a little bit. Anyway, enough of that. I also said I was between titles for Cherry’s book. I have one now. Irish Cherry.

Irish Cherry follows the youngest Hampton sister, Cherryce. She’s on a journey of discovery when she meets a man who makes her consider things she hadn’t been looking for in her life.

The MMC, Eoghan Driscoll, is the Irish cousin of someone you’re very familiar with, Driscoll Kelly. When Driscoll calls Eoghan to ask him to look out for Cherry, Eoghan ends up with far more than he anticipated.

I can’t wait for y’all to meet them! My Patreon Darlings, Delights, Decadents, and Divas love Eoghan and think Cherry is living in denial. I have to agree. They have been a hoot and a half to write. I look forward to sharing more with you soon.

In commemoration of the completion of the Draft Pick series I've curated a custom book box themed for the series. This is your chance to have Carver, Andrei, Denzel, and Vitaly all in one curated-especially-for-you place! You've seen them grow from book to book, and we've reached this milestone together.

This isn't my first foray into offering book boxes, but this is the first time on this scale. The box will include signed special edition copies of all four books in the series (Think sprayed edges and pictures inside).

Of course there will be other items (as pictured) and customized swag. My plans have plans y'all. There will be a limited quantity of book boxes available. So, if you'd like to make sure you get yours, order as soon as possible.

The link is live now, but it's only available to my Patreon and Newsletter subscribers right now. It will be posted in my Facebook group soon, afterwards it will be offered publicly. Then, it'll remain open until maximum capacity is reached or May 31st. Whichever comes first.

I'm shamelessly requesting that you get in on this so we call all have the joy of having Carver, Andrei, Denzel, and Vitaly in special form.

The first twelve (12) orders will receive a special gift inside their box!

That’s all for now. As always, thank y’all for rocking with me. I sincerely appreciate you!

Draft Pick Season IV: Vitaly

Love wasn’t in her playbook. But Vitaly Antonov was rewriting the rules.

Vitaly Antonov has carved his own path out of his brother's shadow. Being the professional hockey league’s most sought-after goalie had its perks. Too bad his agent's sister, Jacelyn Shannon, wasn't one of them. At least not yet.

Jacelyn Shannon had learned long ago she was better off depending on herself. Being everything for everyone else was okay. But she stayed solid and solitary. Jacelyn had no desire to link her life with anyone else. Too bad Vitaly Antonov isn't just anyone.

They come together in a whirlwind. Reality rears its head almost as quickly. While they navigate the dynamics of their new relationship, Jacelyn's former life threatens their future. But, Vitaly won't allow anyone to get in the way of their happiness.

Just Kiss Me

Love wasn’t on the table, but he’s all in.

Ensley Warren hasn’t been very lucky in love. In fact, it seems like she dated a variation of the same guy over and over. Taking a self-care day, she walked through the doors of Anton’s High Roller Casino and everything changed.

Ryker Stephens was just minding his business, playing blackjack at Anton’s, when he laid eyes on a beauty who immediately captured his attention. Love was the last thing on his mind. However, from the moment she walked into his arms, literally, his new mission became providing whatever she needed—and he didn’t even know her name yet.

Ensley and Ryker’s attraction is undeniable. Can Ensley trust in what she feels for Ryker, or will she allow societal norms to get in the way? Will Ryker win in his quest to provide Ensley with not only protection, but the desires of her heart?

Her Reluctant Cowboy

Old Wounds. New beginnings. One unexpected chance to get it right.

Four years out of the army, Vivienne Daley finds something which brought her peace. Working with the horses at the Silver Creek Ranch. It’s just her and the sweet beasts who need her TLC. And, as far as she’s concerned that’s all she needs. Going home to Lone Star Ridge isn’t in her plans, until the future of the Daley family ranch is on the line, and she has to seek aid from the one man she’s avoided for years.

Rhinehart Stephens has spent the majority of his adulthood ranch-life adjacent, but not actually participating. He’d even given up his share of the Stephens family ranch to his brother to pursue a career in business. However, no amount of distancing himself from ranch life could keep him away when Vivienne Daley returns to Lone Star Ridge and asks for his help.

Her desire to save the Daley ranch will take more than Vivienne can do alone. But losing the ranch isn’t the only thing at risk with Rhinehart Stephens involved. Can they put their past behind them and work together? Or, will their history cause her reluctant cowboy to turn his back on their future?

Blind Date with a Rugby Coach

Niccoyan Zheng

Contessa (Tess) Rack is an overprotective mama bear who’s sure her son is ready to play rugby—too bad Coach Milo Hasford disagrees. Their clashes on the sidelines are legendary, and she’s not backing down.

Milo’s got enough on his plate without battling a feisty mom at every turn. But when he spots Tes on a date from hell, stepping in feels like the right thing to do—even if she’s been driving him crazy for months.

In return, he asks for a simple favour: be his date to the Christmas party and keep him safe from overly handsy donors. But as sparks fly and tensions shift, the biggest risk isn’t the game—it’s losing their hearts.
