Life Stuff

I hope spring has started off well for you. Weather wise, it started cold and wet with a couple of Tornado threats where I am. But, we were safe and suffered no damage. I’m thankful for that. I got my seeds planted in my grow kit and have successfully started forty plants for my garden! 🎉🎉. Fingers crossed that I have good growing season.

Who else is planting (or has planted) a garden?

I started gardening right before the pandemic and added a second, larger bed during that time period. I love being able to grow at least some of my own food. I've even gotten some family members hooked into planting their own little gardens.

I’m sad to inform you that the Boozy Book Tour in Denver, Colorado has been cancelled. The organizers informed us that the cancellation included Denver and all future events under the Boozy Book Tour name. Although I looked forward to the opportunity, I appreciate their transparency.

Writing Update

Since I wrapped up Irish Cherry, I’ve spent a lot of time in edits. Not so much that I haven’t started a new WIP--let’s not get any wild ideas about me not writing.😜

I’d paused Blacktooth Summit, but I’ve restarted those episodes as well. If you aren’t keeping up, that means you aren’t a member of my Patreon. You should subscribe and join the discussion.

My next project is the expansion of Thrive. Some of you may recall that I wrote a novelette that was included in the charity anthology, Love on the River. It was available for a limited time in 2024. There was so much I wanted to include, but word count limits... I’ve decided to expand that story and allow us to spend more time with Bailey and Hayden.

To catch everyone up, the story follows Bailey Collins, a police officer in Logan City, Georgia and Hayden Wilson, owner and CEO of his own financial advisory company. Bailey and her partner respond to a call at the home of Hayden’s brother. Please be advised, this story deals with DV and related trauma. It’s still very much a romance, but the topic is on page. I care about your mental health. So, please check your triggers before reading.
