US UPDATE: FLORIDA 

Students at a Flagler County Middle School in Florida reported being stopped at the front door, asked if they were . The students who refused to answer were taken to an isolation room and were not allowed to speak to one another. The students texted what was happening to their parents.

ACTION STEPS: Prepare your students on what to say and do if this happens! 

1) If they are asked, they should say, "I don't have to answer that. That is a question you should ask my mom (or) dad, my family attorney or my family doctor." If they have a religious exemption, they can mention that too. 

2) Instruct your child to then ask to speak with you. If they have a cell, use it. 

3) If they are taken to a room, remind them to stay calm, know that they'll be okay and that you'll be on your way.

4) Teach your child(ren) to document what is happening to them. Text, photo or video if they have the capability.
