Happy release day to Ravi and Liam

,

I love this story so much. I've had such a blast writing the Belle Argo Series, and I hope I get to keep writing in this world for as long as possible. I can honestly say, that even though I don't have a favorite book in the series, Ravi was so thoroughly entertaining to write and so determined to have his way. I'm telling you, that sweet guy is a wolf in lamb's clothing.

In book 1 of the series, I introduced Liam, thinking he would be someone who lived on the perimeter, who got called in when some shady semi-legal shit needed to happen and maybe Brennan didn't have enough manpower, but I didn't expect him to have his own story. Imagine my surprise when Ravi said, very clearly, "He's mine."

AND THEN he started calling Liam Daddy. šŸ˜³šŸ¤ÆšŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€

NSFW Excerpt:

Even knowing what’s coming, the telltale rip of foil makes my pulse kick up. So does the cool sensation of a condom at the tip of my cock, the squeeze of Ravi’s fingers as he rolls it down. Goddammit, I wish I could see better right now.

His knees press into my hips as he rises up again, positioning himself over me. His hand is on me again, his slippery fingers braced on my stomach. There’s some wiggling and squirming as he tries, I assume, to get himself into the right spot.

Then I feel it. The tip of my cock presses at his opening. It’s all I can do not to buck my hips again.

ā€œI’ve been practicing,ā€ he whispers. ā€œYou’re bigger than my dildo, but that’s okay. I think I can take you. I know I can.ā€

This is going to end badly. You need to stop him.

I’ve never been more certain of anything. This is an absolute train wreck waiting to happen.

He’s angry. So am I. Whatever this is right now, it’s toxic. Nothing good can come out of it. There’s also an ugly, selfish voice whispering in my ear that this is actually perfect. He’s giving me what we’ve both always wanted, and I don’t have to feel like shit about fucking him if he’s got me tied down.

So, when he says ā€œRemind me of your safe word, Liamā€ I don’t try to buck him off. I don’t tell him to stop like I know I should.

I say, ā€œMy safe word is red, kid.ā€

Then an unholy sound rips out of me as he begins to sink down, squeezing my tip in the most delicious, amazing, constricting heat.

He’s using me. I’m merchandise. An upgraded fucking dildo.

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted anything more.

ā€œI’m going to fuck you now, Daddy,ā€ he whispers.

A little ice breaker:

One of the things I do when I'm plotting a book is ask some ice breaker questions to get to know the characters better. Ravi and Liam had some interesting things to say:

1)    What’s your drink of choice?

a.    Liam – water with electrolytes, unless he’s stressed, then scotch

b.    Ravi - Coke

2)    How do you spend holidays?

a.    Liam doesn’t so much celebrate, mostly just works and maybe he’ll take a day off depending on what he’s got going on in his life

b.    Ravi spends the day volunteering and miss when his parents would do decorations and put up a tree

3)    Favorite animal?

a.    Liam – doesn’t have one

b.    Ravi – likes all animals, but he especially likes rabbits. They're so cute and fluffy.

4)    Most embarrassing moment?

a.    Liam – in times of great stress he’s been known to sleepwalk, once while stationed in Afghanistan he accidentally got into another dude’s bunk naked. His platoon never let him live it down.

b.    Ravi – accidentally locked himself out of his dorm room in nothing but a towel and he couldn’t find the RA, stumbled across a bunch of drunk guys who laughed at him but the humiliation sort of turned him on and he’s still a little confused about that

5)    How do you feel about yourself?

a.    Liam – so much self loathing. He’s not a good person. He’s got a sadistic streak, and while he mostly kills for good, he hasn’t always

b.    Ravi – He likes himself most of the time but he’s aware that he’s not good with people and that makes him feel lonely. Sometimes he wonders if there’s something wrong with him.

6)    How do you feel about the world?

a.    Liam – it’s a fucked up place and we’re all just trying to survive

b.    Ravi – he knows it’s dark but he has hope for making a difference in some way

7)    Who was your teen crush?

a.    Liam – A girl from his hometown. He asked her out before he went off to boot camp but she later cheated on him

Ravi - Liam

And I just want to leave off by saying I'm incredibly grateful to each of you who have read these books, who've taken the time and effort to tell their friends and followers, and who've taken the time to send me your questions about what's ahead in the series. It's so awesome to have these characters I adore embraced by others.
