Help me celebreate Guardian's release

Jan 13, 2026 4:01 pm

, I'm partnering with Gay Romance Reviews to do a launch for Guardian. I don't know that I'll make sense for me to do this for every book in the series, but we're giving this one a little extra love.

I've mentioned before, but Ravi's book was kind of special to me. In part because I loved the characters, and in part because it was one of those books where I felt like it was less me writing and more the characters telling me what to do, and I find that so interesting and fun.

I was still writing Switch when I realized Ravi's love interest was going to be the jaded vigilante "security guy" who was introduced briefly in Blackmail. It threw me for a loop, because they don't make any sense together. Except THEY ACTUALLY DO.

And what Ravi wants, Ravi gets. I mean, how can you say no to those eyes?

So, for anyone who would like to be involved with helping to spread the good word about this release, I would be eternally grateful. If you want to do a review, post the cover reveal on socials, or anything else, that'd be awesome. You can sign up to be a part of the GRR release tour, here: https://tinyurl.com/Guardian-GRR

NSFW Excerpt:

When I walk into the bedroom, he’s on his hands and knees. The full moon of his ass hits me right in the face. His uncut cock is hard already, hanging heavily between his legs.

“You don’t have to stay in that position,” I tell him. “We could be here a while.”

He flips onto his back. “You said it wouldn’t be all night.”

“That’s right, I did. Given that it’s still pretty early in the morning, that would be a long-ass time. But I don’t intend to make this easy on you, and you’re going to want to be in a more comfortable position.”

“You also said you’d tie me up if I couldn’t promise to behave.”

Now I have a dilemma. He’s leading me, and I generally can’t stand subs who try to top from the bottom. I also really fucking love seeing Ravi tied to my bed.

Holding his defiant gaze, I slip the loops over his wrists and tighten them slightly. “I’ll leave your legs free this time. You’ll probably need to move them around.”

The best place for this would be in my garage. There’s a padded bench made for exactly this sort of thing. I could drape him over it and have easy access. It’s effortless to picture him in there, surrounded by my toy collection and the scent of polished wood. Taking him in there, though, is crossing a threshold neither of us is quite ready for. Not yet.

Each boundary I’ve set with Ravi has wound up being one I eventually smashed through or jumped right over. A voice in my head tells me I might as well give in.

Still, there’s a certain sort of person I have in my workroom, and Ravi’s not one of them. They’re temporary. Faceless. I don’t want Ravi to be faceless or temporary to anyone.

Not even me.

Ok... Every once in a while I try to do a digital declutter on my camera reel, and this week I made an embarrassing discovery. My camera photos are typically 80-90% pictures of my kids and my pets, with a sprinkling of theme park pictures, or stuff I saw when I was on my run (rainbows! deer! BUNNIES!). Lately though, it's looking more like this:

These wallpapers were made by @Frenchandbookish, who is doing the good work of keeping us all fed while we wait for a second season of Heated Rivalry, or literally anything else that will press the same dopamine button in our brains. God bless her.

Happy reading, y'all,
