Hi Friends,
Look at me go, two weeks in a row! Now that you have an idea on where I am, I want to get back into the swing of my regular layout. Before we jump right into it, I wanted to give you a heads up that I'll be changing up the tips section to align more with my niche (Leadership and managing). A lot of these skills will still be organization and productivity based, but expect to see a slightly new angle.
Hack of The Week: Story Telling 📚
Before I took a break, my last tip was about the importance of silence in a conversation. I want to stick with this theme as I've learned a lot over the past few months about improving your communication skills.
Storytelling is one of the most powerful tools a leader can use to communicate effectively. My recently favourite youtuber Vinh Giang often emphasizes that facts alone rarely inspire action, but a story has the ability to capture attention, and really capture peoples emotion. When we share stories, we give people context they can relate to, helping them understand not just what we’re saying, but why it matters. A good story makes the lesson memorable long after the meeting or conversation is over 📖
For supervisors and leaders, this is especially important. Whether you’re motivating your team, handling a tough conversation, or sharing a vision for the future, your ability to tell stories will determine how much of your message sticks. Stories build trust, and make it feel like your an actual human, instead of just someone dropping instructions. As Vinh Giang says, “Communication is not about transferring information, it’s about transferring energy. Next time your having a conversation with someone, try getting your message across via story (even if you have to make one up on the spot)! See how much more clear your point was made, and how much more interactive your audience is.

Business Update 💼
I've come to a harsh truth. There is simply no way of building a business (Especially online) without posting content. For my products and services to be seen, I need to create a following. As much as social media has never been my forte, I know it's time to learn. With that in mind, my plan is to pick two social media platforms and post every week... Hell maybe in 3 times a week. With my target audience in mind, I've decided to pick LinkedIn and Instagram, which are easy to use, and have a similar posting format.
In terms of content let me say this now. It will be bad, and I'm okay with that. I need to get into the headset of posting as fast as possible, instead of overthinking every detail. I'm okay with making posts that get 1 like, or 0 views if it means facing my fear of posting online. its about action, not perfection.
The other side of my business update is my course. I'm currently on mission 2/4 for my online business course, and can not complete it until I make my first sale of my $10 product. There are a lot of others in the course that have asked a friend or family member to buy it for them, so that they can move on. For me, I can't justify it. If one of my friends/ family buys my product because they see value in it, then I would be absolutely thrilled, but if they are buying it just to support me, then I feel like its false hope. If you haven't checked out my store page yet, I would love to get your feedback if you have any suggestions on things like wording, images or overall marketing:
