Bee Routines Back!

Happy Thursday Friends,

I know I know, its been a long time and for that, I'm sorry. The last email I sent you was the beginning of May, where I outlined my Q2 goals. While I was unsuccessful in giving you a weekly newsletter, I am proud to tell you how much work I've put in over the 3.5 months. As I get back into the swing of newsletters, I am going to break down where I'm at in trying to create a business, along with how my other Q2 goals have progressed. For this week, I'm going to skip the "Productivity Hack" section, as I want to focus on my business update!

p.s Done worry the tips and tricks will be back in the next one I promise! 🤞

Business Update 💼

When you seen this newsletter pop up, you probably did 1 of 2 things:

  1. Forgot who this was or why you're getting a spam email
  2. Thought my business was not successful and that but I'm probably back to give it a 2nd attempt.

And with those two assumptions under way, I'm going to tell you that you're both right and wrong! I have never given up on Bee Routine and have been working on it before, during and after my break from newsletters. That being said, I have taken my focus to a different route and am really excited with the direction I'm headed.

Instead of productivity for the masses, I decided that I needed to dial down on a niche. Selling tips and tricks, or fun gadgets to help people be more efficient in their life is nice, but from a small business (If you can even call it that), its very unrealistic to kick off the ground. After reading over 10 books on building business and audiences, I've found that a product based business is not the way to go, especially for my first business. As July came to an end, I was thrilled to see that my favourite productivity "Guru", Ali Abdaal, was hosting a business course called the $1K challenge, where he will teach you how to build your first business and hopefully make your first $1000. "What perfect timing" I told myself!

I'm currently halfway through the live course and am having blast going through the content and attending classes. Of course, there's no promises here, he can teach me all I wants, but the work is up to me. Its here and now that I've decided to take my business down a slightly new path.

Productivity has and always will be my favourite topic. But you know what else I love... Being a leader. More specifically, being a supervisor/ manager. I've taken pride in a lot of my leadership roles throughout my school, personal and professional lives. This is why I've decided to target managers and supervisors, helping them become more organized and efficient at work. I'll share more over the coming weeks, but for now I'll leave you with a teaser. I've created my first product, which teaches leaders how to stay organized from a day to day standpoint at work.

If you're interested, I would love it if you checked out my new store page:

For now, that's all from me folks!

Cheers 🍻,
