How I manage my multiple bank accounts
Ever get frustrated that you've run out of direct debits for account perks? Or worry you won't have enough money to meet the minimum monthly deposits?
Fear not! In this article I share the systems and tricks I use to make having more than one current account effortless.
9 ways your local library can save you money
I imagine you're all looking forward to visiting non-essential retail next week (I'll be getting a haircut on Monday). But it's not just shops we can get back to - libraries will also reopen their doors.
Yes, obviously you can get books for free, but they also provide much more - from free magazines and comics through to access to family tree memberships and space to get away from the kids.
Here's how to get the most from your local library.
Work from home tax relief extended for 2021/22
You can once more claim back between £62 and £140 in tax relief for this new financial year if you are required to work from home for at least one day - and you can claim for last year too if you've not done that yet.
Ask Andy #7 Your questions answered
This week's round-up of answers to some of your questions includes:
- Do I pay tax on interest if I’m a non-taxpayer?
- Should I close my old credit cards?
- Can I switch a basic bank account?

- & more

THIS WEEK'S DEALS
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the titles or links for more information.
I've also set up an extra Instagram account dedicated to the flash sales, deals and short-lived offers I spot throughout the week. Do follow me there so you don't miss out on offers that are already finished by the time this email goes out on a Thursday.
1. Halifax: £100 switching bonus returns
There's a new bank bonus available, and it's open to new and existing Halifax customers, includes anyone with a Reward account already.
You can't have received a switching bonus from them since April 2020, but that means lots of you will be eligible for a bonus a second time around. More details here.
You can also get £5 a month with the Reward account - here's my guide to the easiest way to do this.
2. CHIP: £10 bonus and 1.25% interest
New users for savings app Chip can get a £10 bonus in April, on top of the 1.25% interest rate (applicable on up to £10k in savings). Use the code CLEVER10 when you sign up. Here's more on the offer and the account.
3. Sky Sports: £25 a month via NOW
This offer is back until the weekend and saves more than a third on the usual price. You'll get it for £25 rather than £33.99 a month for six months, but can cancel early if you want.
4. Craft Beer: 50p Goose Island IPA
Use cashback app Shopmium at Sainsbury's and you can pay 50p for a can of craft beer.
5. Amex Business: Up to £330 in bonus points
This increased offer on the American Express Business Gold card ends Friday. The bonus reward points you can earn in the first three months is 50,000 (worth £250 cash, or more in Nectar points) if you spend a minimum of £5,000.
Plus you can get up to £80 cashback. And you can get the bonus if you haven't had a personal Amex rewards card in the last six months (it's two years for personal welcome bonuses). So it's worth looking at if you think you'll spend that much via your business.
6. Hotel Chocolat: Easter choc clearance
Though supermarkets are almost completely out of Easter choc (I spotted some small eggs in my little Tesco yesterday), you can still pick up posher choc at Hotel Chocolat and Lindt with 50% discounts.
