New Lloyds Bank £100 switch offer
This latest bank switch incentive is from Lloyds. You can get £100 for opening up a new Club Lloyds account and switching in from a different bank.
But there's also a way existing Club Lloyds and Club Lloyds Platinum customers can get the offer. I've explained how and the other conditions in this article.
Boosted Amex welcome bonuses - including for existing cardholders
The joining bonuses for new American Express customers are fantastic ways to earn a decent boost on everyday spending. The problem is you can only get these if you've not had an Amex in your name in the last 24 months.
There are a couple of cards that do let certain existing cardholders earn a new bonus. I don't usually recommend them as they come with huge annual fees.
But with temporary boosted welcome bonuses and another little trick, these could be worth hundreds of pounds - even if you've got a different card right now.
Here are the details and more in my September credit card round-up.
September’s savings round-up & news
Fixed rates on savings are getting higher and higher - reaching 1.5% for a one-year fix. Here's my monthly round-up blog and video on this and more including the best accounts to open right now.

THIS WEEK'S TOP DEALS
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the titles or links for more information.
I'll also share a quick update on Instagram on Saturday morning.
1. Raisin: £50 bonus on savings
If you've got £10,000 to save for at least six months then this new customer offer at savings marketplace Raisin will net you £50 - the equivalent of a 0.5% bonus if kept for a year. Here's how to get it and my pick of the accounts.
2. NUS card: Alumni card trick
Long-time readers will remember the fantastic NUS/Totum card hack that could get anyone a student card, even if they weren't at university.
That sadly ended a few years ago, but if you had a Totum card that expired, you might be able to renew it or apply for a new Alumni card. Here's how.
3. US Open Tennis: Prime Video savings
Young Brit Emma Raducanu has been doing fantastically well in the US Open, reaching the semi-final. But to watch it you need Amazon Prime Video. Here are the ways to pay less, potentially even get it for free.
4. John Lewis: Free Google Nest Mini
If you plan to spend £50 or more at John Lewis, you can claim a free mini smart speaker worth £49. Details here.
5. Cineworld: Three months Unlimited offer
The all-you-can-watch membership from Cineworld usually has a 12-month minimum term - but until the end of October that's reduced to just three months. Passes begin at £9.99 a month. Check them out here.
6. Beer: Free pint
You've got until Friday evening to claim a free pint from the We Love Sport app. I used it a few weeks ago and found a decent number of pubs to choose from.
