Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
My top articles this week
1. Curve card cashback - is it any good?
I've been using the smart card Curve for a few years now. It's handy to be able to use just one card to access multiple debit and credit cards. This week it's added an enhanced cashback scheme for premium members - is it worth upgrading to get it?
Here's my look at how the card works, and how anyone can get a free £5 reward for signing up.
2. Why I didn’t tell you I went on holiday
It's a slightly shorter newsletter this week as I've been away on holiday - but you won't find snaps all over my social media. And there's a money related reason behind it.

The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value - and here they are for you too. First some newbies in a bit more detail, then some you might have missed from previous weeks. Click the red titles or blue links for more information.
1. Chip - Last chance to get 3% on savings for a year
The savings app Chip is making some big changes, including ending the interest offering on the app. There will be a new referral and rewards scheme and I’ll update this review when this happens.
But for now, you’ve got until 30th June 2019 to qualify for interest, which will last for 12 months. With the code CLEVER3 new users can get 3%, and you can add on up to 2% more by getting friends to use your personal referral code. You need to download the app to use Chip.
With rates dropping at Tesco last week, and at TSB in a few weeks, it's going to be harder to get this kind of return very soon.
2. Get six free cinema tickets
I'm often writing about the free cash bonuses you can get for switching bank, but this is a great offer you can get without switching, and I've just done it myself.
Simply open up a Lloyds Club bank account and you can choose six free tickets to either Vue or Cineworld, or you can opt for a magazine subscription if you prefer. However, with the former, once you've used your tickets you can switch the account to get some of that free cash elsewhere!
3. Sky Sports week pass for £5.99
You can pick up a NOW TV pass for Sky Sports for just £5.99, a huge discount and even cheaper than a standard day pass. You can only put one onto your account at a time, so don't get carried away, but I think it's worth getting a couple.
4. John Lewis clearance now live
The summer John Lewis sale has started, and there are some decent special buys and clearance offers so it's worth a look.
But it's also worth checking to see if any recent purchases you've made at the retailer are now reduced as you can claim on its famous "Never Knowingly Undersold" policy which price matches itself up to 28 days after purchase. Here's how it works.
5. Echo Dot speaker for £15.98 - LAST CHANCE
If you've not taken advantage of this yet and want a very cheap Amazon smart speaker this is your last chance. The final day to sign up to the offer in Monday.
