Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
My top articles this week
1. Will a water meter save you money?
Water meters can either drastically cut your bills or see them rocket. We've had one for a year now and just had our first bill through. Find out whether we've saved money, and how you can work out if one would be good for you or not. Plus ways to bring down your spend if you already have one.
2. Virtual Mobile Networks explained and how they’ll cut your phone bill
If you're scared to change your mobile provider as you don't want to lose signal then this is the article for you! There are actually only four different services in the UK, with all the different networks operating on one of these. So that means you can switch and save money if you know which ones have the same signal. Here's how it works and what to look for.
3. It pays to complain
I'm not someone who tends to let things go if they've gone wrong and left me out of pocket, and over the last few weeks I've half a dozen instances where I've successfully got compensation or my money back. So I thought I'd share some of those, and the different approaches I used to complain.
4. Should you ditch the TV Licence for other TV, radio and online services?
I shared this article back in February, but in light of the news that free licence fees for over 75s will end next year I thought it was worth adding it into the newsletter this week. I've read a lot online of people saying it's a waste of money, so I've taken a look at what you actually get for your £12.88 a month.
