May 2023’s savings round-up: 5% fixes

There have been some massive savings rate increases in the last week, so this month's update is packed with the best-paying accounts right now.

This includes easy access at 3.71%, notice accounts at 3.95% and a range of one to seven-year fixes all at 5%. Huge rates!

3. Boots: £10 of points when you spend £60

For every £60 you spend at Boots this weekend you'll earn £10 of bonus points - and it could be one of the last chances to earn a standard 4 points per £1 as it'll soon drop to 3 points. It'll also work on some Dyson products, if not all. Here's more.

4. Showcase: Watch 4 movies, see another free

5. Costa: £5 voucher last chance

6. Chase Bank: Uncapped cashback ends

If you don't already have a Chase current account then you have until 8 May to open one and earn uncapped cashback for the first year. After this date (and after a year) it'll be limited to £15 a month. More here.
