1. Holiday money: How to fix your exchange rate & beat a falling pound

The pound has had a rough time recently, and in particular this week when it briefly dropped under $1.20. It's crept back up a little, but the volatility will continue until we know what's going on with Brexit (and no doubt beyond). This means if you're planning a holiday abroad later this year there's a chance it could get a lot more expensive.

So if you need to make sure your holiday budget doesn't go bust I've a few ways you can lock-in at current rates, giving you certainty as to what everything will cost.

2. How to find bargain second-hand clothes

This month Oxfam has launched a campaign to get us to buy less new clothing. The reason? Well there a few, including the fact that 11 million items are put into landfill every week in the UK.

Over on my Cash Chats podcast I've talked to fellow money bloggers Hollie and Faith about the campaign and ways to get involved.

Then on the blog I've written this article about finding the best second-hand clothes, whether in charity or vintage shops, or for free through "shwopping" with friends.

1. Tesco Clubcard Prices event starts on Monday

Look out for 100s of discounts at Tesco from next week in a special three week long event just for Clubcard users. Last time around there were some really good discounts, including a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce for £1. More on how it works here.

2. Swap old clothes for H&M or M&S vouchers

As well as thinking about buying second hand this month, it's good if you can donate unwanted clothing too. And as a reward you can get some free vouchers to spend at H&M and Marks and Spencer. Here's all you need to know.

3. Big end of summer clearances

Lots of shops are massively reducing things like garden furniture, BBQs, camping equipment and picnic gear. Well worth a look. I've shared a few retailers where I've spotted some bargains.

4. New £150 bank switching offer

As one offer ends (HSBC) another one starts. You can get £150 if you switch to RBS, and that includes existing as well as new customers. My pick of the accounts is the £2 Reward account which offers 2% cashback on bills.

5. Amazon Prime Now multi-buy offer

If you're in a town which offers 2-hour delivery as part of Amazon's Prime Now service, take a look at the app as there's a promotion on food, drink and cleaning products that'll give £5 back if you buy five, or £10 back if you buy 10.

6. 24-hour flash eBay sale - 10% off

Yet another eBay deal, this time offering 10% off at selected retailers when you spend £100. The per cent is less than normal but there's the potential for a much higher £100 off, so it's good for higher end products and appliances. Retailers include Curry's, Argos and AO. Ends midday Friday.
