Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
"Hello all,
Yesterday was my first day filming for the third series of Shop Smart Save Money, and it was great to get out there and help a family face to face with their finances. You'll be able to see how I got on when the show returns in the Spring.
I also got some exciting news - I've been shortlisted for Financial Broadcast Journalist of the Year at the Headlinemoney Awards. I won for best blog in 2017 and 2018 and though I don't think I'll take home the prize this year, it's great to be in the running.
Andy"
My top articles this week
1. How to save at the cinema every day of the week
With the Oscars taking place this week cinemas are full of nominated movies you might want to catch this weekend. Except that's the most expensive time to go right? Well, it doesn't have to be. I've shared a few tricks and deals that can bring down the price you pay to see a film every day of the week.
2. How to beat broadband price hikes
Sky has announced an average 5% increase on bills from April. Any price hike would normally be bad news, but this could be a chance for you to escape your contract and save money. Here are your rights if you're affected by a broadband price increase and how to use it to cut what you pay.
3. Get 50% off Domino’s Pizza every time
This trick is a great money saver for takeaway fans in London and Yorkshire. Rather than scrounge around for 30% off offers, you can get 50% off your pizza every day with a Tastecard membership, which you can try for free. Plus I've shared a quick way to find discount vouchers if you live elsewhere in the UK.

The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value - and here they are for you too. First some newbies in a bit more detail, then some you might have missed from previous weeks. Click the red titles or blue links for more information.
1. LAST CHANCE: Win a year's Kid Pass membership
If you'd like to be in with the chance of winning a 12 month Kids Pass membership, head over and enter my simple competition. You can also get a 30-day trial for just £1, good timing for half term activities, or anyone (whether you have kids or not) who wants to get cut-price cinema tickets.
2. Get a free fiver for opening a Monzo bank account
The smartphone-only bank Monzo has been incredibly popular, offering things like fee free spending overseas and budgeting tools. Though it's not my main account, I do have one in my arsenal and you can now get a free fiver if you apply for one! There's no need to switch, so you can keep your other accounts while you try this. Here's how, along with all the current switching deals.
3. Up to £50 off Amazon Business
If you have a small business then here's a great deal to sign up for an Amazon Business account. You'll get 50% off your first purchase up to £100. So that's £50 back.
4. Possible Marks & Spencer 20% off
I've just checked my M&S Sparks account and there's a 20% off code for clothes, homeware and beauty. When this happens it's often for all customers, though it's sometimes spread over a couple of weekends. So take a look at your account to see if you've also got it.
5. Free Deliveroo and Uber Eats credit
With the Domino's article this week I hadn't planned to share more takeaway deals (seriously, it's not a cheap habit!). But there are two decent discounts on popular delivery services. You can get £5 off Uber Eats until Sunday, while there's £5 for £1 for new Deliveroo customers, or £2 credit for existing users.
