My top articles this week

1. The cheapest ways to watch football on TV

We're only 10 days away from the start of the football season so it's a good time to think about how you're going to watch all those games on TV - and there are even more this year with Amazon Prime joining the likes of Sky and BT Sports as broadcasters. So I've looked at who is showing what matches across the Premier League, Champions League and Football League, along with the deals to help you pay less.

2. The tricks to make sure you can claim for train delays

New figures this week showed that only a third of eligible passengers actually claim for refunds when their train is delayed. To help you get money back if your train doesn't come in on time I've shared a few things you can do to make sure you don't miss out.

3. Can you get compensation for PPI?

There's just over a month left before the PPI compensation deadline, which means you need to get moving if you want to be in with a chance of getting some money back. And don't ignore this if you think you didn't have it on your borrowing - whether loans, car finance, mortgages, store credit and more- as there were cases where it was added without people knowing. Here's what you need to do to check and then complain.

4. Beat the heat

It's going to be an absolute scorcher tomorrow, so I wanted to share a couple of my recent articles which should help you stay hydrated and protected from UV rays without spending a fortune.

First read How to get the best value sun cream - you don't need to be buying posh brands as cheaper options will do the job as long as you check for a few key labels. Then learn How to refill your water bottle for free from bars, cafes gyms and more.

The top deals this week

I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the red titles or blue links for more information.

1. DEAL STACK: £1.25 rentals / £2.50 to own, inc Captain Marvel

Combine a couple of offers and you can rent or own the latest movies at a bargain price. First you need to buy a Groupon offer that gives you £10 credit to use at rental service Chili. This costs £5.99, but a 15% off code brings it down to £5.09. You'll also get a free Odeon cinema ticket! In itself this is a really good deal.

But it gets better. There's also a code which will give you 50% off two rentals or purchases at Chili. So that means you get two £4.99-ish rentals (HD) and still have £5 credit left, or you can buy two £9.99 movies (SD). Bargain. Titles include Captain Marvel, Dumbo and many many more. Here's how to get each offer.

2. Free £10 craft beer credit and 15% discount

Online beer shop Honest Brew has an offer until Sunday where new members depositing £10 can get an extra £10 credit added to their account, and then save 15% on orders. There's also a £10 off code for new customers. Warning - don't leave the cash in there too long as it's not protected.

3. DON'T FORGET: Sweet Cinema codes end soon

If you've been collecting codes from sweets like M&Ms to get free cinema tickets they have to be entered on the Sweet Cinema website by the 7th August. You can still use the codes until the 25th August - but only on Sundays. More on the offer and other cinema deals here.

4. Boots £10 off from tomorrow

Spend £60 online at Boots from Thursday until the end of the month and you'll get £10 knocked off at the checkout.

5. Marks and Spencers Drinks Festival offers

I picked up some bargain, reduced to clear, spirits in my local M&S as part of it's summer drinks festival, and there's also a third off a huge range of wines, beers and other spirits. It's in-store only.

6. LAST CHANCE: Free supermarket ice creams

You can claim back the money for a multi-pack of almond ice creams from Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's or Morrisons via cashback app CheckoutSmart. The offer is valid until the end of the month.
