The sun hasn't really been shining this summer, but that doesn't mean you can ignore sun cream when it does. It's tempting to buy more expensive brands when you do, but is there any difference between these and cheaper own brand options? 1. £20 off Amazon Prime membership
If you don't have Prime, or pay monthly, you can get £20 off the annual fee until the 16th, meaning it'll be £59 for the year. This is a rare discount. You'll get free next day delivery, film and music streaming and of course access to the the Prime Day sales which start at midnight on Sunday, and last for two days.
From Monday, I'll also be sharing the best Prime Day offers over on my Amazon deals page, where you can also find a few other tricks to increase your savings ahead of the sale.
And there are already offers live ahead of the sale, with Echo speakers reduced to very low prices for all shoppers and daily deals just for Prime members.
2. Sky Sports week pass for £3.79
A great price if you're keen to watch the cricket world cup, or just save it for F1, golf or when the football returns. However it's only one voucher per Now TV account.
3. £10 or £20 off at Boots
Spend £60 online at Boots before Monday and you'll get £10 off, or spend £100 and you'll get £20 - so that could be as much as 20% off. Unlike the regular Advantage Card offers, this saving is automatically taken off at the checkout. You can make multiple transactions to get multiple savings.
4. Free Barcardi cocktail - every day
If you like mojitos or spiced rum and coke, Barcardi has an offer for you to get one of these each day from bars including Slug & Lettuce. Here's how.
5. Free Chili 4K movie rental
There's a new mobile phone game called Snatch which is giving away free movie rentals for the streaming service Chili when you sign up. It should take you around five minutes to get your code, which is valid for renting a movie until the end of the year. I've tried it and got my rental - though I wouldn't bother carrying on with the game as the prizes aren't that bountiful or even very good!
