This is what I’ve been up to- soundproofing the party wall in the bedroom. Went for a similar system to the one on Steve’s ceiling. Oh and bought a Dewalt laser level as an early Xmas present to myself, love it! ?

Hey friends. My phone died on me hence the gap in posting, sorry about that. Anyway, I’ve been insulating the solid brick (no cavity) wall in the bedroom. It’s not a big room so I wanted to preserve as much space as possible. So I’m using instastick foam rather than dot and dab cement stuff and went for the GTEC pir plasterboard as it has a paper backing which I thought the foam would stick better to than foil. I couldn’t find much info on this method so it’s a bit of an experiment. So far so good though, it’s sticky stuff! Now I just need to figure out how I can acoustically insulate the party wall without losing too much space....?

Just on the finishing touches for the next video on the internals. This was my first effort tiling, looks pretty sharp right??

I’m a bit of a grump so think of Halloween as an American affair but we had a home grown pumpkin waiting to be carved. Can you see the likeness to Arlo??? Second pic taken with a new camera so things should start to look a lot sharper in a few videos’ time ?

First coat of oil done before the rain returns. Second coat always goes on much quicker. Almost there! I made a vid about a side gate on my channel if you want to learn more about this oil ?
