Hi ,

This weekly email may look a bit different today and going forward. I'm working on moving my shopping cart and email system to new platforms. I recommend revaluating your business tools every once in awhile. Things change a lot in the online marketing world and nothing changes faster than the tools.

I've been using InfusionSoft for years and decided I'm finished with paying huge monthly fees when there are so many options available now that will do as good a job or better for a fraction of the price. To that end, I've chosen to go with SendFox for email marketing. It's simple, few bells and whistles and I got a one-time payment lifetime deal on AppSumo. Score for saving money!

And, now, 5 Things for you to discover...

1) Doing research for the latest edition of the IF Insider, we were covering what you can drink when you're fasting. That's when we discovered research by Consumer Reports: What's Really in Your Bottled Water? Sad news for Topo Chico lovers. πŸ˜₯

2) Are you taking Vitamin D? I've been diligent since Covid-19 hit and have read so many studies that Vit D can help boost overall immunity. Getting out for a walk in the sunshine helps, too! The health benefits of sunlight: Can vitamin D help beat coronavirus?

3) You know me, I can't resist a great wildlife photo, especially when it's a big cat! They always give me an emotional lift. Hidden camera's hugging tiger wins wildlife photo award. There's also an amazing portrait of a young male proboscis monkey.

4) October is typically the month I travel and two years ago I trekked in Nepal on the Annapurna trail. I've also trekked many times in Peru and on every trek, I'm grateful for the porters who are hauling my stuff from place to place along the journey. While I haven't trekked to Everest, this article caught my attention for the inside story on what the porters experience: The American man who became a porter on Everest

5) If you share my love of documentaries, then you'll love this site! Documentary Mania. There's a lot to browse through and I was happy to see Fantastic Fungi featured on the home page!

And finally, if you're curious, the Most Clicked Link last week was...

The technology that’ll help small businesses in the next pandemic
