Hi ,
I'm writing this email as my first task to complete for today's Get It Done Day. I love these 4 hour work sprints that I host monthly. Today we have participants working on sales pages, planning for 2021, mapping out marketing strategies for a new program and working on a brand refresh. It's exciting and gratifying to experience progress and accomplishment among the group.
This week's 5 Things has a bit of an unexpected theme of virtual travel. The most clicked Thing from last week is at the end. Enjoy!

And, now, 5 Things for you to experience...
1) Want to get away and a have a change of scenery? But don't want to hop on a plane right now? Try this... Tired of the same old home office? Punch the clock in a hotel guest room. This definitely appeals to me. There are some cool hotels in L.A.
2) Take a trip down memory lane via the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. This project reflects 50 years for photographing the famous Sunset Boulevard by L.A. artist Ed Rusha. It's fascinating to look at how the street and building have changed since 1966 when he started the project. It's set up so you can compare the street veiws from different hears and can switch between the north and south sides fo teh street. I went down the rabbit hole on this one. Timeline: Explore a Changing Sunset Boulevard
3) My longing for adventure travel comes into play here: "...without novel experiences, creativity and innovation is practically impossible, since our brains are never challenged to consider new perspectives or to integrate new information." The Importance of Novelty
4. Not part of the travel theme, though travel does contribute to a growth mindset, IMHO. 15 Ways to Build a Growth Mindset (thanks for this one goes to Katherine Robertson-Pilling)
5. What I'm reading: A Gentleman in Moscow. I've never been to Moscow or anywhere in Russia for that matter so this charming novel is giving me a taste of a earlier era- 1922 - from the perspective of a man who has been sentenced to house arrest at the Metropol Hotel, across from the Kremlin. (thanks to the recommendation by Elizabeth Cottrell)
And finally, if you're curious, the Most Clicked Link (really no surprise) last week was...

Your turn...what virtual adventures did you have this week? Reply and let me know!
Thank you for tuning in today and may you have a peaceful weekend,
