Feb 28, 2026 11:01 am
Let's do this, !
Thank you for volunteering to keep the March 4 Democracy running smoothly and safely!
Arrival
- Volunteers assisting with setup are asked to show up at 2:00 PM to help unload and get ready.
- All other volunteers are asked to show up between 2:30 and 2:45 PM to so we can all get oriented before the action begins at 3:00 PM. Look for the 50501 flag and tent to find a lead organizer and get checked in.
Roles
- Marshals. As a marshal, you'll maintain the peace. Be ready to step in as a calm and friendly face to deescalate if interactions are becoming heated.
- Medic. As a medic, you'll monitor the wellness of the participants around you during the march and respond when someone asks for help. I know some of you have your own medic bags, and you're invited to bring them! We do have extra kits for those of you without.
- Tabler. Augusta 50501 will be running a few tables at the rally, offering local resources, providing water, building whistle kits, and more. You'll help people understand what they're looking at and get them started.
