Hi ,
Happy Veterans' Day! Here in the US, today we honor all of the men and women who've served in our armed forces. In my day job, I'm privileged to work on a team filled with incredibly talented veterans, and I'm so thankful for what they've done and continue to do behind the scenes. They truly set a new standard in our workplace. And especially in my writing, I hope to be as dedicated and honorable as they hold themselves to be.
When I started thinking about November 11th, I actually realized today has a number of things to celebrate.
- Veterans' Day
- National Young Readers' Week (My boys are great enthusiasts. You should see our coffee table... if you could through all the books.)
- Skyrim's birthday (IYKYK)
- The release of A Legacy of Ashes!!
Orphaned siblings. A misfit crew.
One heist that could topple an empire.
When a job uncovers secrets about her past, Esta undertakes a dangerous mission that could strike at the very heart of the Empire.
What happens when her life isn't about survival, but answering, what does she love enough to die for?
I can't tell you how excited I've been for this release. Ever since Awakening's Kickstarter backers unlocked it earlier this year, I've been dying to share A Legacy of Ashes, and now it's finally here! Esta's story is thrilling, tragic, and inspiring in all the right ways, and it has quickly become very dear to me... But I might be a little biased. π
So if you're looking for a high-stakes fantasy heist filled with rags to (almost) riches, found family, and survival vs. sacrifice, or if you loved the intrigue of Mistborn and the tragic heroism of Rogue One, you definitely don't want to miss A Legacy of Ashes. Grab your copy through the links above, or find out more on my website!
