Hi ,
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. The holidays are always a busy season for us, but with the boys heading back to school, that means routines are slowly returning to normal, including my own! 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year, so let's kick it off with some news about The Oathsworn Chronicles!
Did you hear? The Cataclysm hit Amazon's Top New Releases!
Yep, and you all made it happen! Right after The Cataclysm released in December, everyone pulled together to help this gripping prequel to the series reach #1 in Hot New Releases for one of its categories. While it didn't break into any of the Top 10 Bestsellers lists, it still made it quite high, which was incredibly humbling, as I didn't expect any big milestones this time around. You all did an amazing job and I truly can't thank you enough!
If you haven't checked out The Cataclysm, now's the time! For the next few months, it's available for free through Kindle Unlimited if you're a subscriber. But this is only for a little while, as it'll leave KU before Awakening launches on Kickstarter this spring. So be sure to give The Cataclysm a read, and help spread the word by leaving a rating or review!
Which brings us to Awakening itself. 😊 Book One of The Oathsworn Chronicles is nearing its final stages! As I'm working through the finishing edits, I'm also building out its Kickstarter campaign, so everything is ready to go when the time comes, tentatively scheduled for April 2025. I'll share more about how Kickstarter works over the next few months to help walk us through what to expect. But if you've already set up a Kickstarter account, you can follow the pre-launch page for Awakening here and be alerted when it goes live!
Want more FREE epic stories?
As I grow my own knowledge in writing circles, I also get to rub shoulders with other up-and-coming authors in the fantasy and sci-fi space, and there are so many talented writers! One thing I love about the author community is how they band together to offer free books so that you can find your next favorite storyteller.
During the month of January, you can grab dozens of free stories through the promotions below. If you're looking for something new to add to your 2025 reading list, these are a great place to start!
While these promotions are geared towards adventure stories, I don't know all the authors involved and so can't vouch for all the content. I simply offer this as a service to you, my reader. Please remember to use your own judgment and discernment.
Let me know if you've had a chance to finish The Cataclysm or any of my other stories. I always love to hear feedback from my readers, even if it's just something I ought to fix. Or maybe you've been reading something totally different and just can't wait to share it. Got anything new I should add to my own 2025 TBR list? 😉
Have a good week!
