They booked and cancelled? 😯

I had a call with one of my clients last week (it's a hotel in Tanzania)

 

And they were showing me their bookings cancellations

 

I was surprised

 

I didn't know it that was something they were struggling with until that conversation

 

At the end of the meeting I proposed to take over the management of their booking.com account

 

 

Listen,

 

I've been doing marketing for about four years now

 

And outbound sales for 7 months

 

I know why people cancel after a booking

 

Thankfully, I get paid to turn that around

 

As I take over their booking.com profile here's what I will be doing

 

 

To reduce cancellations and turn cancelled bookings to paid bookings

 

 

*   Ensure that our offer align with our listing

*   Introduce bundle packages and freebie

*   Call individuals who have cancelled, understand why

*   Give them a counter offer to what a competitor has offered them 

*   If uncertainty has made them cancel, give assurance that helps them book such as deposits etc.

*   Keep in touch via email and WhatsApp

*   Send them a mail about our offers every two weeks
