Ever thought about taking mini-retirements?

Hey ,
Zest here ☕
I came across a poll recently that said 67% of working Singaporeans prefer a “micro-retirement” (short breaks) or “unretirement” (going back to work later) instead of the traditional stop-work-at-63 idea. The Business Times
What jumped out to me is that while many people want this flexibility, a large portion still haven’t got a clear plan to reach it.
Out of curiosity!
When you think about your retirement years, do you imagine a traditional stop working + full rest, or more of a phased approach (breaks + part-time work)?
And are you comfortable with how mapped out your plan is so far, or is it still a bit “let’s see later”?
If you like, I can send over a quick 2-minute snapshot of how this trend might affect someone in your shoes (kids, mortgage, savings).
Just reply with “2 Min” and I’ll send it over.
Warmly,
Zest Chia
