New Website!

Hey all!

It has been a few months since my last newsletter, and I'm excited to share a few exciting updates. But first, if you're a Redditor, I highly recommend going over to r/Fantasy and voting for your Top Self-Published Novels!

The first bit of exciting news is that I have a new website over at zackargyle.com! Not only is it a lot prettier, but I built it from scratch which will give me a lot more flexibility in the future. I even added a built-in epub reader, which I'm excited to utilize more down the road. Here's a few new things you can find on the site:

  • Book Recaps for Voice of War and Stones of Light
  • A Bonus Scene set ten years after Bonds of Chaos
  • Never before seen Artwork
  • Links to several Anthologies

Speaking of...

I shared in my last update that I would have a short story in the new Grim Oak Press anthology titled Unavowed. The Kickstarter went live last week and is doing great! We're at $140k and have already blown pass a ton of stretch goals. The anthology is filled with 22 amazing authors, including: ML Wang, Ryan Cahill, Michael J Sullivan, Michael R. Miller, Michael R. Fletcher (that is a lot of Michaels...), and many more.

My short story is titled "The Last Ride of Kanashimi" and is inspired by feudal Japan. I think it's a lovely story that people are really going to enjoy.

As far as writing updates go, I have been moving quite slowly. I started a new role at my day job which has been taking up a lot of time (if you're curious, it's building the software that game developers use to create VR worlds for Meta Horizon on the Oculus!) That said, I'm still working on the first Cloudfall book and making tweaks as I go. I'm trying not to put too much pressure on myself to finish it with a hard deadline, but I might need to do that soon to kick myself back into gear once I'm settled at the day job.

As always, thank you for your support! Love you nerds.
