We have finally come to the end of this amazing year and we are most glad that we have been able to share the most amazing moments with you. In this special last letter of the year to you, we have captured the best moments of December and we hope to meet you again in the coming year with more highlights and moments just for you.

KNOSK STUDENTS GET A DISCOVERY EXPERIENCE 

There is always unquestionable excitement attached to the exposure and experience of experiential learning, especially field trips even for adults. 

On Tuesday, November 29th, 30 KNOSK students were opportune to receive a tour of Discovery Museum Nigeria's first digital museum. The rich display of Nigeria's history and art in an innovative tech space provided the necessary exposure and motivation we hope for the children of the KNOSK N100-a-day Charity Secondary School.  

We are immensely grateful to Morire Initiative who provided us with this experience and nominated the KNOSK school to be the first beneficiary of such a fantastic initiative.

KNOSK SOLVERS BEGAN THEIR TERMLY EXAMS WITH COMPUTER-BASED TESTS 

Exams for the students of the KNOSK N100 a day Charity Secondary School took a swift turn for good this term. On Tuesday 6th of December, our solvers started their first term examinations and we introduced them to computer-based tests for the objective section of their exams.

For the KNOSK children, this was a new threading ground they faced with much enthusiasm and excitement. From our SS1 students who have had the opportunity to have a few of their continuous assessments as CBT to our freshest class "JSS1" with the majority of them having their first computer experience here at the KNOSK school.

Through experiences like this, we hope that our students would be best prepared for future encounters that may test their coordination, time management, and digital literacy. However, presently we are challenged by limited resources and have to manage to conduct tests like this for 110 students with only 15 devices, this includes desktops, tablets, and laptops.

FAIRVIEW SCHOOLS SUPPORTS THE KNOSK SCHOOL

This December, we received the generous support of Fairview schools in the form of a massive donation of 1.5 million naira. What stood out for us was not just the heart but the entire process and the distance covered to come to visit us and deliver such amazing love. This support means a lot to us and goes a long way to providing quality education to children from the poorest households, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty.

KNOSK FIRST TERM CHRISTMAS PARTY 2022 

The first term of the 2022/2023 academic session finally came to a close with Hackathon presentations and a Christmas party on Thursday, December 15th, 2022. The excitement on our students' faces couldn't be hidden as they presented their Hackathon projects and later performed different activities like comedy dramas, choreography, and dance.

As a bonus to the Christmas party, KNOSK solvers all got their faces painted with carnival art and different comic designs as they wished. At the end of the event, it was finally time for them to get their results and then bid our farewells to meet in the next term bigger and better.
