Cheers!!! December is finally here and we are sure you had the most wonderful moments in November, It is a season of festivities. The term is fast coming to an end and we are glad you have been a part of most of it. Check out some of our memorable moments of the Month of November.

PARENTS AND TEACHERS MEET

November marked the beginning of the second half of the first term of this academic session. However, to mark the midterm, we had a remarkable parents teachers meeting on Wednesday, October 26th with the parents of the KNOSK N100-a-day Charity Secondary School. 

We officially welcomed the parents of our JSS1 students to their very first parent-teachers meeting and introduced them to the KNOSK family. All parents received sponsorship updates of their wards, updates on the wonderful individuals and organizations that are consistently contributing to keeping their children in school, and their academic performance so far for the term.  

KNOSK SUSTAINABLE PROJECT IS COMMISSIONED

Since the beginning of the term, we have been making steady moves toward becoming a sustainable and resource-efficient school. 

This we continued to achieve through an active partnership with The Sustainability Hub, our staff underwent a series of training where they learned how to incorporate sustainability into education and in a wider view raise the KNOSK children to be environmental leaders and ensure a sustainable future. 

On Friday, November 11th the commissioning of the KNOSK sustainable project was held and our Solar power system, school farm, trees, and sorted thrash bins were commissioned for use.

DR MERCY UMERI VISITS THE KNOSK

On Friday 11th November we were graced to receive Dr. Mercy Umeri at the KNOSK N100-a-day Charity Secondary School. It was a radiation of inspiration and hope, from the love that emanated from her to the uplifting words she shared with the children of the KNOSK school. 

What an honour!

APOTIERI RETURNS FROM TEACHER'S NAIJA REALITY SHOW

"Veni, Vidi, Vici; We came, We saw, We Conquered" It was absolutely a journey to be remembered but finally Apotieri Ayansola, KNOSK's most learner-supportive teacher and Teachers' Naija reality tv show finalist is back from the show. 

We say an astounding thank you to everyone who supported us thus far and kept Apotieri in the show by voting consistently, we are grateful for your support. Though we didn't bring the money bag home, we have been able to stamp our mark of excellence out to the world and put a definition to who a smart teacher should be.

MENTORING KICKS OFF AT KNOSK SCHOOL 

Ensuring that optimum learning happens at the KNOSK school and that every child is accountable for their goals for the term is very essential to us. 

Thankfully Mrs. Ibukun Tobi Akinwalire, Author of the learning Assessment Journal donated to the KNOSK N100 a day Charity Secondary School 125 copies of the Learning Assessment 

Thanks to the Learning Assessment Journal and Mentors who are volunteering at the KNOSK school, Mentoring sessions with the students have kicked off once again and doubled up measures of student accountability.
